Creator Terms

Additional terms for creators using Create in Baltics.

01

Scope

These Creator Terms apply in addition to the Platform Terms of Use whenever you register or act as a Creator. If there is a conflict concerning Creator-specific obligations, these Creator Terms prevail for that issue.

02

Creator status

You act as an independent service provider. Nothing in the Platform creates employment, worker status, partnership, agency or exclusivity between you and Create in Baltics or a Brand.

You are responsible for determining whether you must register as self-employed, a company or another business form, and for your own income tax, social contributions, VAT, invoicing and other legal obligations.

03

Profile and portfolio

Your profile and portfolio must accurately represent you and your work. You must have permission to display all uploaded portfolio material and may not falsely claim work, clients, results or qualifications.

04

Applications and pricing

When you apply to a campaign with a stated Creator price or budget, you confirm that you are willing to perform the listed deliverables for that amount unless you and the Brand agree otherwise before both sides confirm the collaboration.

During the current beta pricing model, Create in Baltics charges Creators a 0% Platform fee. You remain responsible for your own taxes and any payment-provider requirements.

05

Performance of collaborations

  • Read the campaign brief before confirming.
  • Deliver the agreed content on time and in the agreed format.
  • Communicate promptly if an unavoidable delay or problem occurs.
  • Complete agreed revisions that fall within the original scope.
  • Do not materially change the concept, format or deliverable without Brand agreement.
  • Do not subcontract a collaboration without Brand consent where the Creator's identity or performance is material.
06

Product samples and expenses

If a Brand sends a product, the campaign must state whether it is a gift, must be returned, or is supplied only for production. Unless expressly agreed, travel, props, locations and other expenses are not automatically reimbursable.

07

Advertising disclosures and claims

If content is published by you as advertising, sponsorship or another commercial communication, you must make all disclosures required by applicable advertising, consumer-protection and platform rules. You must not make a factual claim about a product that you know is false or that the Brand has not authorised and substantiated.

08

Intellectual property

You retain copyright in original content unless you expressly agree to transfer it. Upon full payment, you grant the Brand only the usage rights recorded in the campaign or collaboration, including any agreed duration, territory, channels, paid-media use, raw footage, editing rights and exclusivity.

You confirm that your deliverables will not knowingly infringe third-party copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity or other rights. If third-party music, footage, fonts, locations or people appear in content, you are responsible for obtaining rights that are necessary for the agreed use unless the Brand has expressly taken responsibility.

09

Payouts

Where payouts are enabled, you may be required to complete Stripe or another payment provider’s onboarding and identity verification before receiving funds. Create in Baltics does not need or want your payment-provider password.

Payout may be paused while a bona fide dispute, refund, compliance review, chargeback or legal requirement is being resolved. We will not label the service as escrow.

10

Confidentiality

Treat non-public campaign materials, unreleased products, access credentials and confidential business information as confidential. Do not publish embargoed or unreleased content before the agreed date.

11

Tax and reporting information

Where required by law, including applicable platform tax-reporting rules such as DAC7, we may need to collect, verify, retain and report identification and transaction information. Failure to provide legally required information may prevent payouts or continued use of paid features.

12

Prohibited conduct

  • Fake identity, fake portfolio or manipulated engagement evidence.
  • Buying or selling reviews or ratings.
  • Harassment, discrimination or abusive communication.
  • Delivering plagiarised, stolen or unlawfully generated material.
  • Deliberately moving an introduced collaboration off-platform to conceal it and avoid an applicable Platform fee.
13

Cancellation, disputes and suspension

Cancellations, refunds and disputes are handled under the Payment, Cancellation, Refund & Dispute Policy and the specific collaboration terms. Repeated non-delivery, fraud, rights infringement or serious misconduct may result in account restriction or termination.
